Today marks a proud milestone in the history of Llanerchindda Farm Guest House as we celebrate being named the AA Bed & Breakfast of the Year Wales 2026.

Announced at 3:30pm on 7 July 2026, this prestigious award recognises excellence in hospitality and celebrates the very best places to stay across Wales. For our family-run business, nestled in the heart of the stunning Cambrian Mountains near the iconic Cynghordy Viaduct in Carmarthenshire, it is an honour that reflects years of hard work, dedication and a genuine passion for welcoming guests.

Run by Lynn and Martin, alongside their twin sons Andrew and Mark, Llanerchindda Farm Guest House has become a favourite destination for visitors seeking peace, tranquillity and top class hospitality. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery and overlooking the Black Mountain skyline, guests travel from across the UK and around the world to experience the beauty of this special corner of Wales.

Over the years, we've invested in making every stay even more memorable. A significantly larger dining room now offers spectacular panoramic views down the valley towards the Cynghordy Viaduct, while our continued investment in social media and the launch of a brand-new website have helped introduce Llanerchindda to an even wider audience.

However, this award belongs to far more than our family.

Every member of our incredible team has played a vital role in creating the warm, welcoming atmosphere that guests return for time and again. A heartfelt thank you goes to Carol, Toni, Clare, Lynne, Sandra, Holly, Ina, Aur, Crychan, Andy, James, Mod and Rob.
