Tour Experience & Itinerary

Vintage Austin classic car driving on a country road

Each classic car tour is designed to balance structured hospitality with complete freedom on the road. The emphasis is on enjoyment, exploration, and flexibility rather than strict convoy driving or fixed schedules.

Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome
Guests arrive at Llanerchindda from 4.30pm onwards, where afternoon tea is served on arrival. This is followed by a relaxed drinks reception, giving everyone a chance to meet fellow drivers and enjoy the atmosphere. The day concludes with a three-course evening meal at 7.30pm in the dining room.

Day 2 – Scenic Touring at Your Own Pace
The day begins with a full Welsh breakfast and a detailed route briefing. After this, drivers are free to set off at their own pace. There is no fixed start time and no requirement to drive in convoy, although guests are welcome to do so if they prefer.

The route takes in some of the finest driving roads in the region, with sweeping mountain passes, quiet rural lanes, and breathtaking views. Suggested stops for coffee, lunch, and afternoon tea are provided in your road book, but you are free to explore as you wish.

Afternoon tea is served on your return to Llanerchindda, followed by a three-course dinner in the evening.

Day 3 – New Routes & Local Attractions
After breakfast and a group briefing, the second full driving day begins. A group photograph is taken before departure, and drivers once again head out independently to explore a new set of routes.

This day includes entry to a local attraction, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy both driving and sightseeing. Lunch can be taken at the attraction or as a picnic along the route.

Depending on your package, you will either complete your journey and depart or return to Llanerchindda for afternoon tea. The day finishes with another three-course dinner in the evening.

Day 4 – Departure
After breakfast, guests depart for home at their leisure. For those who wish to extend their stay, optional activities such as clay pigeon shooting can be arranged (additional charges apply).
