Clay Pigeon Shooting
Clay pigeon shooting is one of the most popular activities at Llanerchindda, offering a true countryside sport experience in a controlled and safe environment. Our down-the-line shoot is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced shooters.
All equipment is provided, including shotguns in a range of calibres, cartridges, clays, and full protective eye and ear wear. Before each session, participants receive a full safety briefing, and instruction is available throughout the experience at no additional cost.
Sessions are designed to be flexible and enjoyable, with a relaxed pace that allows participants to build confidence as they progress. Whether you are trying shooting for the first time or looking to refine your skills, the experience is structured to be both engaging and accessible.
Clay pigeon shooting works particularly well as part of a multi-activity day or group break, offering a competitive yet informal outdoor challenge in a stunning rural setting.
Clay Shooting Prices & Options
We offer a range of pricing options to suit different levels of experience and equipment requirements.
For those hiring all equipment, including gun, safety gear, tuition, clays, and cartridges, prices start from £50 per person, which includes 25 shots and 25 clays. Additional rounds of 25 shots are available for £30 per person.
For participants bringing their own equipment, shooting is available from £25 for the first 50 clays, with additional clays charged at £15 per 25. Cartridges can be supplied if required.
This flexible structure allows both casual visitors and regular shooters to enjoy the experience in a way that suits them.
Pre-booking is essential to ensure availability and to allow us to prepare sessions appropriately.
4×4 Driving Experience
Have you ever wondered what a 4×4 vehicle is truly capable of? Our 4×4 Driving Experience provides the perfect introduction to off-road driving, allowing complete beginners to experience challenging terrain in a safe, controlled environment.
Using our purpose-built on-site course, you'll learn the basic principles of off-road driving with an experienced instructor sitting alongside you. The course has been designed to demonstrate how a modern four-wheel-drive vehicle handles steep inclines, uneven ground, mud, ruts, and other obstacles that would be impossible to tackle in an ordinary vehicle.
This experience is aimed specifically at those with little or no off-road driving experience and is designed to be enjoyable, informative, and confidence-building.
Whether you're curious about off-roading or simply looking for a unique activity during your stay, it provides an exciting introduction to a completely different style of driving.
For those who own their own 4×4 vehicle, additional instruction can also be arranged, allowing you to put newly learned skills into practice under expert guidance.
